About the role
We are currently seeking suitably experienced and qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters to work alongside a talented team of HME qualified trades people to carry out all aspects of mobile plant mechanical maintenance & repairs on our Emeco fleet.
Located at our clients mine site in South Australia, your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following.
- Ongoing maintenance and service of the Emeco fleet and machines
- Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within time & cost targets.
- Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required.
- Working alongside the Emeco customer to meet company objectives.
About you
- Experienced trade qualified HD Mechanic / Fitter.
- Significant post-trade experience with heavy earth moving equipment, namely Caterpillar, Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr.
- A strong commitment to safety.
- The successful candidates will also be required to complete inductions, be medically fit and able to pass a drug and alcohol pre-employment test.
- Strong analytical, diagnostics skills with a solution focused attitude.
- Licence to conduct high risk work with forklift, dogging, rigging, crane, elevated work platform and working at heights classifications will be highly regarded.
