About the Position
Emeco Group are looking for Permanent Heavy Diesel Technicians to carry out all aspects of mechanical maintenance on the Emeco fleet based at our Maules Creek operation. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of qualified trades people and further your career in the Mining Industry.

- The opportunity to work on a range of machines including Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi and further your experience in the mining industry
You will be responsible for:
- Ongoing maintenance and service of Emeco Equipment and Machines
- Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targets
- Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
- Working with Emeco customers to meet company objectives.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Relevant trade qualification including Light vehicle, Heavy vehicle, Plant mechanic, Diesel Mechanic
- A strong commitment to safety
- Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment namely Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi would be of advantage but not essential
- Strong analytical skills with solutions focus
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team
- Licence to conduct high risk work with dogging, rigging, crane, and work platform classifications are desirable but not essential
