Heavy Diesel Technician

About the Role 

We are currently seeking multiple Heavy Diesel Technicians on a 7 on 7 off Roster for our operations at  Blair Athol Mine. The aim of the role is to contribute to the safe and reliable performance of Emeco's Earthmoving Equipment Rental Fleet.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of qualified trades people.

What we are looking for 

• A strong commitment to safety and willingness to grow and develop your skills
• Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification and ideally post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi
• Strong analytical skills with a solution focus
• Ability to work as part of a cohesive team

About you 

• Recognised National Trade Qualification 
• Current Standard 11 
• Proven experience and/or recognised training with CAT and Komatsu HME 
• High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles 
• Experience in a contracting environment and proven customer focus 
• Proven experience in a similar role
