Did you hear? We have refreshed our hourly rates and added new incentives for a number of our sites in QLD. We’re also offering a sign on bonus of $5k, with this all bundled up, you could earn up to $175k plus super for permanent roles and a bit more for casuals.

Emeco at Burton, have an opportunity for experienced Heavy Diesel Technicians and Leading Hands to join the dynamic team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and Servicing of our rental fleet; D10 & D11 Dozers, 16M Graders, Fleet of 789 & 793 Trucks, 400T+ Excavators & more.
  • Fully Operational 8 Bay workshop with Overhead Gantry Cranes + Tooling etc
  • Assist in the development & execution of Preventative maintenance and performance strategies across the fleet
  • Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets
  • Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required
  • Working with Emeco/Force customers to meet company objectives

Required skills / experience & attributes:

  • Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification with significant post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi
  • Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
  • Working at Heights and High Risk Work Licence including Dogging, Rigging, C6 Crane & EWP; highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills with a solution focus
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Ability to work as part of a cohesive team
