Field Service Heavy Diesel Technicians & Auto Electricians

Force by Emeco are expressing interest for experienced and specialised Heavy Diesel Technicians & Auto Electricians to join our Field Service team in the Northern Queensland team. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced team of qualified trades people.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and service our rental fleet namely; D10 & D11 Dozers, 16M Graders, Fleet of 777 to 793 Trucks, 992 Loaders, 400T+ Excavators & many more.
  • Work across our contracted sites to assist in breakdowns, specialised diagnosis and labour requirements to support Emeco rental fleet across Queensland.
  • Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within cost targets
  • Working with Emeco/Force customers to meet company objectives

Required skills / experience & attributes:

  • 5-7 years post trade experience, with extensive mine site exposure. Experience with completing break downs, troubleshooting & diagnosis, general servicing and components change outs on a variety of OEM equipment
  • Relevant nationally recognised trade qualification with significant post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu and Hitachi
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical
  • Working at Heights and EWP; highly desirable
  • Ability to thrive working autonomously and work accountably.
  • Great communication skills when working with clients and internally to deliver key results
  • Strong analytical skills with a solution focus
  • Ability to work as part of a team
