We are looking for MEM Drill Maintainers to provide technical assistance, support, and expert advice on continuous improvement practices on a day-to-day basis to the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Shutdown Teams in Tom Price. These roles will be fly in fly out 0n an 8/6-7/7 roster ex Perth only.

The role requires someone who can work autonomously with confidence, taking ownership of tasks and making sound decisions under minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within shutdown teams to achieve safety and production goals.

Reporting to Supervisor MEM Shutdowns Drill Team and working an 8 days on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 days off roster in a collaborative community within Mobile Maintenance, you will:

  • Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations.
  • Execute scheduled shutdown maintenance on the drill fleet, ensuring work is completed to the highest standard to reduce downtime and prevent rework.
  • Be a part of a transient team working at our Tom Price operations, with some site visits across the Pilbara.
  • Actively work towards increasing equipment reliability as well as availability
  • Report indications of defects as required
  • Complete quality handovers with oncoming crews and other maintenance teams as required

What you’ll bring:

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • High level diagnostic fault-finding abilities, plan, priorities work to meet deadlines
  • Experience maintaining HME Drill Fleet equipment
  • Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent trade qualification
  • A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver's Licence (Manual) or higher
  • High Risk Work Licences preferred – LF, WP
  • Must have full Australian working rights without requiring sponsorship
