We are looking for a Heavy-Duty Fitter to join the Mobile Maintenance Team at our Dampier Salt Operation. This is a permanent residential opportunity in Port Hedland working 3 days on, 4 nights on, 7 days off, 12-hour day shift roster.

You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance to our fleet of heavy mobile equipment.

We offer fully subsidised housing where you and your family will be able to explore the incredible Pilbara region and have access to excellent sporting and recreational facilities as well as a shopping centre, medical and education facilities.

This role is open to applicants who have a desire to permanently relocate to Port Hedland. A site visit may not be possible if you reside outside of Western Australia.

What you will need for this role

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• A Heavy-Duty Fitter or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification
• Previous experience in maintaining and fault diagnosing open cut mining equipment
• Australian manual driver's licence
• A strong commitment to safety

It will also be beneficial if you have:

• Proficient in the use of SAP
• Heavy Rigid driver's licence
• High Risk Work Licences in LF, WP, CV, DG, C6
