Long Term Maintenance Planner –Rolling Stock Maintenance

Work Location: Hedland Operations. Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.

Roster: 8D/20R Job Share FIFO ex Perth or Residential

Fortescue’s Rail Planning team is currently recruiting for a Long Term Planner, reporting to the Superintendent Rail Maintenance Planning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Master data reviews and updates.
• Monitoring compliance to maintenance strategies.
• Maintain rolling 10yr replacement CAPEX plan.
• Warranty management for Locomotive material.
• Work order management >12 Weeks.
• Assist with creating Maintenance Budget, reviewing and reforecasting.
• Cost Tracking.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Maintenance planning experience and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes within a heavy industry environment.
• Master data management, Task List building, Bill of Material management, Maintenance Plan creation.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Competency using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in SAP is essential.
• Self-starter and a high regard for attention to detail.
