Management Accountant

Work Location: Perth/Port Hedland. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: FIFO - 5:2,4:3

Role overview:

Fortescue is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a fast paced, dynamic working environment on a 12-month contract to support a broad range of operational departments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly journals and reconciliations as part of the month end process.
• Financial reporting and analysis to support multiple business units.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Working closely with senior leaders to provide financial insight critical to decision-making.

Qualification and Experience: 

• CA/CPA recent qualification or currently in progress
• 3+ years management or financial accounting experience
• Detailed working knowledget of SAP and MS Excel
• Proactive and self motivated
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
• Strong analytical and engagement skills
