Heritage Field Officer
Location: Various locations around the Pilbara Region
Roster: 14 days on 14 off
Reporting to the Heritage Field Supervisor and working closely with key Native Title Groups and external consultants, this position will be responsible for the safe delivery of heritage field activities across various Fortescue project areas. As part of the Heritage field team, you will be responsible for strengthening relationships with Native Title Groups
Key Responsibilities include
- Ensuring remote heritage surveys are conducted safely and efficiently with Traditional Custodians and external consultants
- Understanding of the Aboriginal Heritage Act
- Daily written and verbal communication to Heritage team
Education and experience:
- Current manual C Class Driver's Licence
- First Aid qualification (Senior First Aid or equivalent)
- Off road and long-Distance driving experience
- 4WD qualification (RIIVEH305A)
- Technologically competent
- Strong communication skills
