We are looking for a motivated, safety conscious Maintenance Planner to plan, maintain, communicate, and track progress of heavy mobile equipment maintenance activities in accordance with safety, environmental and statutory requirements. This critical activity enables us to maintain our dedicated earthworks fleet to further support the delivery of the Geoscience and Water Resource Evaluation 5-year plan technical objectives.

This exciting role enables the projects by ensuring there are appropriate land access approvals requested and in place, funding is approved, detailed project scopes delivered in a timely manner, resourcing requirements assessed & understood, data management systems updated, approved accommodation demand inputted and implementing risk mitigations strategies.

Reporting to the Senior Planner and working in a diverse team within the Resource Development Planning department, you will bring:

  • Proactive approach with a strong commitment in driving a safe working culture
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of project systems – scheduling and forecasting
  • Demonstrated complex problem-solving abilities to deliver solutions across an operation
  • SAP experience advantageous
  • A current manual WA Driver’s license

Where you’ll be working

This role is based in Perth, at our head office in Central Park, and working Monday to Friday. We want you to have a great work/life balance, so the days, hours, location of work are flexible (including working from home). You may be required to travel to the Pilbara to support our customers on an as required basis.
