About the role: Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for providing HR support and advice to frontline leaders and employees across the Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV).  This dynamic and varied role allows the successful candidate the opportunity to work across the employee lifecycle and be involved in all HR functions, including EA negotiations, industrial and employment relations and recruitment activities. 

Duties will include:

  • Provide high-quality and timely advice to frontline leaders and employees on all HR-related matters;
  • Timely and accurate processing of HR/employee data, correspondence and administration.
  • Participate in recruitment activities as required.
  • Ensure established performance management processes are being followed and provide support and advice as required.
  • Undertake workplace investigations. 
  • Involvement in a range of HR projects and initiatives

The lifestyle: This position is offered on a 9 day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.  Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance and may have the ability to salary sacrifice up to 50% of rental payments.

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and 2+ years’ experience in a similar position
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Team focused attitude with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
