HR Officer
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive and suitably experienced HR Officer to join the Swick Mining team at South Guildford. This position will be an integral part of the HR function, primarily responsible for end-to-end recruitment of our operational site-based roles, as well as providing generalised support within the team.
Key Responsibilities
This position will be accountable for the following:
- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding, including: longlisting and shortlisting candidates; phone screening; collation of required documentation; reviewing medical assessments; completing client site entry requirements; issuing online inductions and letters of offer.
- Ensuring a positive candidate experience with regular communication and ensuring feedback is provided.
- Liaising with selected labour hire agencies to source and place suitable candidates.
- Regular and ad-hoc reporting as required.
- General support as required to assist the HR team.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following experience, qualifications and attributes:
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in a high-volume recruitment environment
- A proactive and solutions-focussed attitude, with the ability to adapt and work flexibly
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate appropriately and effectively at all levels
Desirable
- Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR environment
- Relevant qualification in HR/IR, or working towards
- Experience working in mining/drilling or a related industry
