HR Project Leader

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive and suitably experienced HR Project Leader to join the Swick Mining team at South Guildford, reporting to the General Manager – Global. This position will be responsible for leading HR projects end-to-end, as well as working closely alongside the HR Team Leader providing operational support.
Key Responsibilities
This position will be primarily responsible for the following:
- Establishing performance appraisals and remuneration review process within online HR platform
- Providing training and support to leadership team during implementation of new processes, as above
- Assisting with creation and regular review of HR documentation including policies, procedures, and position descriptions
- Working alongside HSE team to review and improve health and wellbeing initiatives
- Building upon collection of feedback throughout the employee life cycle, to provide meaningful data and insights to leadership team
- Providing support for HR Team Leader particularly in relation to employee and industrial relations
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following experience, qualifications and attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering HR projects and initiatives through to implementation
- Demonstrated experience managing processes within a HR Information System
- Demonstrated experience creating and reviewing HR policies and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships at all levels
- In-depth working knowledge of Australian Employee and Industrial Relations
- Relevant qualification in HR/IR, Project Management or similar
