ABOUT PERTH OFFICE

South32’s corporate office is based in the heart of Perth’s CBD. The corporate office houses key functions including HR, Finance, Corporate Development, Investor Relations, Group Risk and Technical. Our office is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the Perth Underground Train Station.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role is a permanent position on a Monday-to-Friday basis. This role will be based at our head office in Perth.

As HR Services Administrator (Payroll), you will be responsible for actively contributing towards achieving high performance payroll, by focusing on maintaining up-to-date, accurate and timely data in our HR Systems.

  • Ensure alignment to internal controls, standards and procedures in line with the payroll calendar
  • Ensure all queries and data management requirements are managed on time, accurately and within the defined service level definitions
  • Demonstrate and promote operational discipline when executing day-to-day activities
  • Highlight improvement initiatives in existing processes, practices and systems

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

  • 3 years+ experience in a payroll administrative role which includes knowledge of employment law, payroll statutory & legislation requirements (for areas)
  • Experience with SAP & Success Factors preferred
  • A good team player
  • Develop supportive relationships with others in the HR Function and the Line Leaders
  • Ability to work under pressure and to payroll deadlines
  • Attention to detail and the ability to process information accurately
