As a result of internal opportunities, we are looking for a HR Team Lead to join our People Experience team. This position will be responsible for leading a small team of HR professionals to deliver operational and tactical support to the Iron Ore site leadership team.
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is a true collaborator, a trusted partner and experienced HR professional. Our HR Team Lead roles are challenging, dynamic and fast paced.
In this position you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Advising and coaching on employee relations matters to clients with a focus on early intervention and people centricity
- Leading and participating in HR projects with exceptional attention to detail and innovative thinking
- Leading, mentoring and developing a team of HR Advisors
- Driving change with a focus on continuous improvement and challenging the status quo
- Building leader capability through coaching in HR systems and processes including annual cyclical processes
- Facilitating organisational and cultural change
- Demonstrating commitment and understanding of business needs and priorities to become a trusted partner
What you’ll bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in human resources with a comprehensive knowledge of generalist HR activities
- Demonstrated understanding of Australian Employment Law framework and best practice application of relevant legislation
- Extensive experience in complex workplace investigations and advising on performance management practices
- Capacity and versatility to operate in a large and dynamic organisation which involves delivering business objectives across a diverse workforce
- Proven influencing, stakeholder engagement and change management capability
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills that demonstrate experience in applying business analysis principles and practices to a complex environment
- Experience in leading and developing a team

People Services provide HR advisory, global mobility, talent acquisition and recruitment, employee relations, remuneration and performance services to leaders, employees & HR business partners.
In the Pilbara region of Western Australia, we own an integrated portfolio of iron ore assets: a world-class, integrated network of 16 mines, four independent port terminals, a 1,700 kilometre rail network and related infrastructure – all designed to respond rapidly to changes in demand.
