HSEQ Advisor - Greenbushes

The Greenbushes project is located in the picturesque South West region of Western Australia in the Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes. Our client, Talison Lithium, is the world’s leading lithium minerals concentrate provider and the Greenbushes project is recognised as containing the world’s highest grade and largest hard rock deposit of the lithium mineral spodumene. Macmahon is pleased to deliver surface mining operations at the project from 01 July 2023.
 

Macmahon is seeking expressions of interest for Site Trainers to join the Greenbushes team on a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) basis on an 8:6 roster. The Site Trainer is responsible for executing Macmahon's Training strategy across the project, ensuring Macmahon Training policies and procedures are adhered to. Reporting to the HSEQT Manager, the Site Trainer drives a performance culture that safely delivers positive project results.

Role responsibility not limited to the following:
•    Coordinating and executing training and assessment in accordance with Macmahon training standards and site-specific training plan 
•    Identifying any out of date, inaccurate or unsuitable content in site training material and bring to the attention of the Training Supervisor
•    Maintaining training records to ensure accuracy, currency, and confidentiality
•    Ensuring compliance of training forecast/schedule and allocated training requirements 
•    Delivering face-to-face structured training in both one-on-one situations as well as small group training in classroom and workplace environments 
•    Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with people at all levels
•    Identify training needs for all site personnel and create applicable Training Plans
•    Manage all site workplace assessment activities (production, maintenance, drill and contractors)
•    Manage the accurate data capture and recording of all training and education activities
•    Evaluate and report on all site training and education activities

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience
•    Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
•    Certificate IV WHS
•    Great interpersonal and communication skills
•    Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values
