Ashton - Owned by Yancoal, Ashton is an underground mine and coal handling preparation plant located in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of NSW. 

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Health, Safety and Training team at Ashton Coal Operation.

Reporting to the HST Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of safety and compliance within the specified areas of document control, incident reporting, action management, mine records and monthly reporting.

Other key tasks will include;

• Maintaining underground competencies for employees
• Ensure document management and record keeping is thorough and to maintained to the highest standard.
• Coordinate inductions and training facilities as required.

Skills and Experience

• Certificate III in Business Administration
• Experience in the Mining or heavy industry environment
• Demonstrated experience using management systems such as Intelex and Pegasus
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
