What you’ll be doing

The Yancoal HST Assistant – Corporate is responsible for general administration support of Yancoal systems, processes and provide administration support to HST team members.

• Monitor and update HST information and calendars on Sharepoint.
•  Provide administrative support in the development, upload and maintenance of E-Learning packages.
• Provide administrative support to maintain registers and monitor currency of Training documentation to ensure up to date versions are available for operations.
• Provide administrative support to operations in the upload, and maintenance of Yancoal roles and the assigning of the group training calendar’s and events.
• Conduct general administration of HST systems including Intelex and Pegasus.
• Provide general administrative support for the HST corporate team. This includes:
  • Purchasing and Invoicing
  • Travel and training
  • Office administration
  • Event organising
• Assist the HST Corporate team with reporting which includes monthly HST reports and HSEC submissions and reports

What do you need to be successful in the role?

Qualifications:

• Vocational qualification or Diploma in an associated discipline or equivalent

• Current open driver’s license

Skills:

• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Competent on full range of Microsoft programs
• Previous experience using SAP is desirable

Experience:

• Sound working knowledge of system practices, influencing human behaviours, personal motivation and positive safety cultures.
• Understanding the competencies required to affect a successful mining operation
