Clermont Open Cut is currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our high performing Human Resources team onsite. Located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin, Clermont Open Cut is a high performing truck & shovel operation that produces 12 million tonnes of coal per annum. Clermont Open Cut Operation is a safe, dynamic, and inclusive workplace focused on delivering high performance outcomes. The role which reports to the Human Resources Manager will offer variety and opportunity to the right individual.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the accurate processing of end-to-end monthly payroll
- Data entry and employee records management
- HR Reporting
- Providing a high level of administration support
- General administrative duties as required
- Management of Reward & Recognition Program onsite
- Community event planning
- Actively engaging in the day-to-day operations at Clermont Open Cut Operation
- Promoting positive relationships with stakeholders and the Clermont community
Requirements of the role include:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in high volume administrative roles including payroll, HR or generalist secretarial administration
- An exceptional attention to detail along with an enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including extensive experience with excel
- A positive attitude and the ability to engage with various stakeholders onsite
- Previous experience with SAP system highly regarded
- A Certificate IV in Business Administration or Cert IV in Human Resources would be viewed favourably
This permanent full-time role requires a detail-oriented candidate prepared to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement and who can demonstrate experience in supporting best practise across the HR function whilst maintaining confidentiality.
