- 12-month opportunity based in Perth with strong potential to extend or go permanent
About the role
We are looking for a Principal Advisor Human Resources to support the projects organisation, with a focus on employee engagement, talent management, leadership effectiveness and inclusion & diversity.
The projects organisation delivers major capital studies and executes growth and closures projects across Rio Tinto. This is a great opportunity for a HR professional to make a real difference within this global portfolio.
Reporting to the HRBP Projects you will be used to working in a collaborative manner, and your duties will include -
- Supporting leaders to define, build, and maintain employee engagement
- Constructively challenging and coaching senior leaders on their individual and collective effectiveness
- Building Leader capability in HR systems and processes including cyclical processes
- Proactively identifying risks and opportunities to business objectives through data, conversations and observations; and diagnoses root causes to determine the required intervention
- Acting as an escalation point to resolve significant and complex issues.
