Collinsville Coal is located in the Bowen Basin region, approximately 100 kilometres from Bowen in the northern part of Queensland and produces thermal and coking coal. Collinsville is a safe, dynamic, and inclusive workplace that thrives on delivery and high performance. This role would be suitable for a candidate commuting from any regions such as Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays, Townsville or Mackay, relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates.
We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Officer who has a passion for exceptional service delivery to join our HR team. This position is permanent full time, with an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- The provision of generalist HR support and advice to all key stakeholders;
- Develop & Coordinate employee continued professional development program. Including maintenance of course registers and resource providers;
- Coordinate the employee performance review and development process;
- Facilitate site onboarding of vocational and graduate students and liaise with Collinsville Site Representatives providing them guidance and mentoring;
- Coordinating activities in line with the HR attraction and retention strategy;
- Championing the Cadetship & Emerging Leaders program;
- Maintaining the integrity of personnel files and HR registers;
- Promoting positive relationships with our stakeholders & community;
- Coordinate Open Cut Examiner (OCE) program in cooperation and coordination with other GCAA mining operations; and
- Other best practice HR initiatives.
About you:
- Tertiary or certificate qualifications in Business or Human Resources with previous HR experience;
- Strong communications skills with the ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders;
- Highly organised and solutions focused;
- Maintain confidential information in relation to employee files in line with privacy procedures;
- Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and plan ahead;
- Commitment to continued learning and professional development.
