About the role

The Emeco HR Team is seeking an enthusiastic HR Officer to join our team supporting our HR Function. In this widely varied role, you will have an opportunity to utilise and grow your HR experience in a variety of areas including employee relations, HRIS, workforce planning, and supporting recruitment and employee mobilisation.

Key responsibilities include:

This position is responsible for providing day-to-day support across all HR functions for the HR Team.

  • Issuing of contracts
  • Supporting the mobilisation function
  • Assisting with the employee VISAs process
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork completion and orientation.
  • Assist in maintaining employee records using various information systems (Chris21, Martian Logic, and RapidInduct),
  • Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding
  • Supporting the offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews, collecting company property, and processing necessary paperwork.
  • Adhoc tasks as requested

Required skills/ experience & attributes

To be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate: 

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in human resources, with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of HR administration.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools for record-keeping and analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute positively to our workplace culture.
