We are looking for an enthusiastic and strong performing High Voltage Mobile Equipment Maintenance Electrician to perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance across our extensive fleet of heavy mobile equipment.

This role is preferably for applicants willing relocate to Paraburdoo, Western Australia. FIFO will be considered for the right person.

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and working 4 days, 4 nights, 6 off, 4 days, 3 nights, 7 off roster in a supportive and exciting environment within the Mobile Maintenance Team, you will be required to:

  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the heavy mobile fleet and determine repair action when required across the four workshops on site as well, as breakdown call outs.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects – increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost.
  • Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification.

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • Experience in maintaining all types of heavy mobile equipment specifically Electric drive haul trucks, electric drive front end loaders.
  • An Electrical Trade Certificate.
  • WA Electrical Licence.
  • An HV Switching Ticket.
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
  • An Australian manual drivers’ licence.
  • Basic GE systems experience would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience with SAP.
