ICT Support Officer

Our Corporate IT team is expanding, and we’re seeking an experienced IT Support Officer based in South Perth with regular site travel.

The Vault Minerals Corporate IT team operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing critical technology support across our Darlot, King of the Hills, Deflector, Rothsay, and Mount Monger operations, as well as our corporate office.

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the IT Support Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operational functions. This includes delivering and maintaining IT projects and providing network support.

This position is based in our South Perth corporate office, working Monday to Friday, with regular site travel to support or cover our site support personal.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Overseeing service desk tickets are effectively managed and service levels are exceeded
• Clients are kept up to date with resolution efforts on current incidents
• Contributing to the documentation of IT Policies and Procedures.
• Logging calls in the ticketing system, and to update calls as action is taken
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Installing, investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
• Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies
• Installing and maintaining operating systems, network and application software on desktop computers
• Maintaining regular housekeeping procedures, including data de-duplication, data backups, network optimisation and storage optimisation
• Conducting training in systems use and access
• Continuously monitoring and maintaining system access and security.

About You

• Experience in or sound knowledge of Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory and 365 Office suite
• Outstanding organisational skills to manage high volumes of cases and deal with multiple clients and vendors
• Basic understanding of network technologies, such as switching, routing, and firewalls
• Knowledge in Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2018 & 2025; Microsoft Exchange Online & Windows 10 & 11.
• Critical thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of Networking (LAN, VLAN, TCP/IP etc…)
• Demonstrated analytical, and problem-solving skills and commitment to providing a high level of customer service.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non‐technical staff
• Hold a current WA Driver’s License (manual C Class)
