  About the role  

Nickel West Northern Operations are looking to engage with maintenance professionals to join our team across Mt Keith (Surface) Leinster and Cliffs (Underground) mining Operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be a team player with a high regard for safety. You will enjoy working closely and collaboratively with team members and other maintenance crews.

About you     

This role will offer individuals the opportunity to work as part of a team while providing flexibility to perform various duties.  You will be part of a team that is committed to operating with an engaged and empowered workforce. Our mining teams are also committed to challenging the status quo through continuous learning and technology.  

You will report to a Maintenance Supervisor, and will demonstrate the following:

  • Hold an Australian recognised trade certificate in one of the following fields: Diesel Mechanic/Fitter, LV Fitter, Auto Electrician, Boilermaker, Mechanical Fitter or Electrician
  • Hold a ‘C’ Class manual Driver’s Licence 
  • You will be self-motivated and driven to succeed;  
  • You work well in a team, are a good communicator and have the ability to work autonomously.
