About the Role
Based in Adelaide and working with a supportive and inclusive team, the role is ideally suited to a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual keen to start their career working for the world’s largest Mining company.
Reporting to the Supervisor People Logistics you will be a fundamental of part of the Olympic Dam People Logistics Team.
You will support customer queries in relation to travel, as well as manage day to day operations relating to travel. This role will require you to use multiple systems, and interact with customers via phone and email. The role will require some site travel to support the customer service aspect of this role and support our teams at our operation, Olympic Dam. In conjunction with on the job learning, BHP will formally support you to achieve a nationally accredited certification with a Certificate III or IV in Business Administration.

About You
Ideally you will have the following:
- A solid level of computer literacy
- Basic knowledge of Word, Powerpoint and Excel would be beneficial
- High level of initiative, impeccable attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Able to adapt to a variety of systems and constant change
- Desire to reactively problem solve and assist our customers via phone and email
- Ability to manage a high level of interaction with all levels of the business whilst contributing to our teams BHP Operating System (BOS)
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to a variety of administrative tasks
Location:
Based in Adelaide with some site travel required to our operation at Olympic Dam. Working a 5/2 roster 8 hours per day.
