About IPRO

Brookfield Place is home to BHP Iron Ore’s state-of-the-art Integrated Production and Remote Operations team (IPRO) at Iron Ore.  Our Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using advanced, real-time technology to enable visibility and control, across the entire Iron Ore supply chain. 

As a technology enabled centre of excellence, IPRO employees work collaboratively with site on a shift-to-shift basis to make faster decisions improving safety and optimising value across the supply chain.

About the Role

Reporting to the Mine Control Training Officer, you will be responsible for the effective audit, analysis and reporting of positive communications. The role places a high priority on site awareness of the effective use of positive communications.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure conformance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations
  • An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development
  • Conformity to statutory obligations and WAIO standards
  • Use established systems to recognise and report at risk behaviours and situations
  • Record data into Excel, generate graphs and analyse datea generated
  • Proactive support of continuous improvement measures to deliver clear efficiency and cost benefits

About You

Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to manage work processes and work independently
  • A great attitude towards learning and developing new skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data and report on trends
  • A high level of computer literacy and excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
