About the Role:

If you are an experienced Industrial Painter/ Blaster ideally from mining, civil, automotive, construction or marine industries there are opportunities for you to join the team. No matter what industry you are coming from, Operations Services will connect you to a secure base and provide you with an opportunity to thrive.

You will be responsible for operating spray painting and abrasive blasting equipment, and applying protective coatings and paints to large, fixed steel structures.

This role will be working on an 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster.

About You:

We are looking for the following talents:

  • Cert III in surface preparation & coating or equivalent desired

  • Must be able to blast to minimum of class 2

  • Mine site FIFO experience desirable

  • Proficient in Airless, Conventional Paint methods.

  • Must be able to paint to millage

  • Neat, tidy and takes pride in workmanship

  • High Risk Licence desired EWP, Forklift.

  • Highly safety focused

  • Dedicated and enthusiastic

  • Keen to learn with a willingness for self-improvement

  • Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
