Infrastructure Operator
Work Location: Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth or Busselton
Role overview:
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible to ensure the safe and cost-effective execution of Operational tasks across Christmas Creek Operations and Villages.
Key responsibilities include:
- Complete daily inspections to identify, trouble shoot and repair irrigation systems (watering systems, lawn care).
- Seek guidance for support.
- Safe operation of garden and lawn powered equipment
- Weed spraying and control
- Operate water and wastewater trucks
- Fuel train and Road haul fuel tanker decanting
Education and Experience:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- HR License
- Experience and knowledge in the use and maintenance of garden reticulation systems
- Background or experience in groundskeeping or horticulture would be advantageous
