Infrastructure Operator

Work Location: Fortescue’s Christmas Creek mine is located on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.

Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth or Busselton

Role overview:

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible to ensure the safe and cost-effective execution of Operational tasks across Christmas Creek Operations and Villages.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Complete daily inspections to identify, trouble shoot and repair irrigation systems (watering systems, lawn care).
• Seek guidance for support.
• Safe operation of garden and lawn powered equipment
• Weed spraying and control
• Operate water and wastewater trucks
• Fuel train and Road haul fuel tanker decanting

Education and Experience: 

• Ability to work as part of a team
• HR License
• Experience and knowledge in the use and maintenance of garden reticulation systems
• Background or experience in groundskeeping or horticulture would be advantageous
