Position Title: Infrastructure Operator Experienced
Work Location: Christmas Creek
Roster: 14 Days 14 Off
Summary of role: Infrastructure Services maintains assets across the entire mine site operation and camp facilities including but not limited to: Accommodation buildings, offices, workshops, MAL Laboratories, fuel storage facilities, waste and potable water treatment plants as well as the newly built hydrogen plants.
This position is responsible to Safely carry out duties including general maintenance in NPI operations area, including, but not limited to Water and Wastewater distribution/ inspections.
Key accountabilities will include:
- High safety focus and risk perception at all times
- Operate HR Potable Water Truck
- Operate a vacuum truck and associated equipment
- Communicate with site operations personnel
- Maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness by carrying out daily pre-start inspections
- Provide information relevant to the Supervisor to assist with statutory and company reporting as required.
- Actively participate in daily, toolbox and safety meetings
- Comply with company procedures, policies, and lifesaving choices at all times
- Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to undertaking tasks
- Report all hazards and incidents within the workplace
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and skills required:
- Previous experience operating vacuum truck
- Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP operating system
- Mine site experience
- WA Class C Driver’s License
- Current HR License
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills; including report writing
- Ability to time manage, organise & prioritise workload
- Sound problem solving skills
