Clermont Open Cut is currently seeking experienced Infrastructure Superintendent to join our high performing Engineering & Maintenance team onsite. Located on the western edge of the Bowen Basin, Clermont Open Cut is a high performing truck & shovel operation that produces 12 million tonnes of coal per annum. Clermont Open Cut Operation is a safe, dynamic, and inclusive workplace focused on delivering high performance outcomes.  The role which reports to the Maintenance Manager will offer variety and opportunity to the right individual.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Leading the Infrastructure team to deliver maintenance plans by optimising activities and continually improving the reliability and availably of sites mobile equipment
• Managing a team to deliver and execute the maintenance activities onsite and in the accommodation village.
• Engagement with internal and external stakeholders
• Management of budget and forecasting process which supports the effective cost management of the Maintenance Department.
• Technical evaluations of project tenders
• Minimising costs through efficient management of all available resources
• Engagement with Operations and Maintenance teams to ensure maintenance plans are accurate and
• Visible Leadership that contributes to a safe workplace
• Driving continuous improvement opportunities through innovation and collaboration

Requirements of the role include:

• Tertiary or Trade Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years in supervisory roles within heavy industry
• Demonstrated experience in leading a team to deliver high performance outcomes safely.
• Contractor Management experience
• Strong communication skills
• G1, G8, G9 competencies advantageous
• QLD Drivers Licence
