Infrastructure Supervisor

About the role: We are currently seeking a Infrastructure Supervisor to join usat our Wilpinjong mine.  Our Wilpinjong mine is an open-cut mine located 58 kilometres northeast of Mudgee producing a high quality thermal coal for export with long term contracts for the domestic market.  Wilpinjong is a multi-seam operation utilising truck / excavator and dozer push methods and is currently mining >14mtpa ROM coal.

Reporting to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent with 1 direct report and multiple contractors, the scope of the role is to plan, execute and manage repairs, maintenance  and  installation of site services and infrastructure.  

Duties will include:

• Actively participate in promoting site safety, environment and quality, ensuring compliance with site Health Safety Management System
• Provide leadership and guidance to your team and peers
• Develop plans and progress reports
• Develop a budget for new projects
• Facilitate the coordination of infrastructure activities across the site in conjunction with other site departments

About you:

This is the perfect role for either an experienced Project Supervisor or somebody with similar experience ready to take the next step in their career. 

• Trade qualifaction or higher in a relevant discipline
• Strong leadership skills
• Computer skills include: Excel, Word, Project, SAP

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be a team player, have a willingness to learn and eagerness to lead a small team.  Well-developed communication, negotiating and influencing skills and technical confidence.

The lifestyle: This position is offered on a Monday to Friday roster with one rostered day off per month and can allow for a residential lifestyle in nearby Mudgee district.
