About the Role

Opportunities are currently available at our Mt Arthur Mine Site for CHPP Instrumentation Electricians.

Working in the largest pit in the Hunter Valley and gaining coaching and mentoring in this high performing Maintenance Team. 

Located in the lifestyle friendly Hunter Valley region working a four day week, days only work roster. These opportunities are well suited to someone who enjoys a challenge and is safety focused. 

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, the community and the environment 
  • Working cooperatively within a team to achieve safe production targets 
  • Maintain a high-level working knowledge of safety processes 
  • Responsible for instruments across the CHPP

About You

Energetic and committed, you work well with challenges, bringing attention to detail and an ability to meet multiple deadlines. You relate well with people, communicate confidently and build collaborative working relationships. Your ability to engage and build trust with your reports and be a champion for change will help you deliver on your commitments and will position you well for future career opportunities. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Australian recognised trade qualification (Electrician)
  • Cert 4 Instrumentation
  • PLC Knowledge desirable
  • HV experience desirable
  • Previous experience working within a mining environment in a similar role
  • A strong commitment to safety
