About the role
We are looking for an Integrated Planner to develop and communicate operational planning on a daily basis and to work closely with the maintenance, support team, production and shipping departments to schedule and coordinate the appropriate work needed to produce the volume of high quality product required in the safest and most cost effective manner.
This department ensures product quality for internal and external customers by supporting site quality and production processes, ensuring the work is performed effectively and efficiently whilst interfacing with the Marketing group
Working 7 days on, 7 days off, day shift only, this opportunity is open to candidates who are looking for a residential opportunity or fly in – fly out arrangement to Dampier or Port Hedland, with regular travel to the alternate site and Perth office.
Reporting to the Superintendent Integrated Planning and working in a collaborative community, you will:
Own & communicate integrated production schedules across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering and Project teams. Support safe and efficient execution of plans and schedules.
Maintain production reporting systems, update regular performance reports and databases, undertake data analysis as required to understand schedule impacts, constraints and key risks to business performance.
Prepare relevant documents and chair weekly planning meetings for both sites
Analyse production and shipping volume, quality and scheduling data, providing inputs and recommendations to manage throughput and assist stockpile & ship quality planning.
Manage the end-to-end vessel call process from ship nomination to departure, prepare relevant documentation, acting as the operational shipping focal point and coordinating communications across site, central & commercial teams and external agencies.
Monitor ship berth and sailing-window risks & movements, with proactive conflict resolution and escalation to minimise delays and demurrage exposure.
About you

Strong communication & teamwork skills with the ability able to coordinate with multiple teams to drive positive outcomes
Experience in operations, maintenance, planning, scheduling or similar roles in large-scale or complex operations
Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments with proven ability to take initiative and proactively address tasks
Previous marine and shipping experience would be advantageous
Analytical & numerical problem solving skills, with capacity to develop proficiency with relevant planning & scheduling tools & software. SAP experience would be beneficial.

Dampier Salt Limited (DSL), located in Western Australia and comprising 2 solar operations at Dampier and Port Hedland is the world’s largest exporter of seaborne salt, harvesting millions of tonnes each year. DSL focuses on sustainable, premium salt production in thriving environments.
Between the 2 operations there are 53 ponds across 20,000 hectares, operated by a 99% residential workforce.
