We are looking for an Integration Developer to be responsible for developing, maintaining & enhancing Rio Tinto’s integration solutions in compliance with Integration Platform standards, patterns & governance.

This is a great opportunity for a developer with strong Azure integration experience, along with Integration Architect, to drive integration competency across IS&T through a robust governance framework across several integration delivery streams.

Reporting to the Integration Platform Owner and working in a collaborative community within our Technical Enablement division, you will:

• Own & continuously improve Rio Tinto’s global integration solutions with input & endorsement from Integration Architect, Enterprise Architecture & Cyber Security
• Contribute subject matter expertise to Rio Tinto’s global integration platform delivery requirements including integration solutions, DevSecOps processes, Azure API Management platform sustaining & enhancement initiatives, project governance & consultation and business-as-usual services
• Support initiatives from relevant Service Lines, Product Group Business Partners, Cyber Security and I&OT teams
• Align integration solution towards Rio Tinto IS&T transformation objectives
• Build & nurture relationships with key stakeholders; continuously seek feedback on technical solutions value & performance
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for solution delivery & operations, based upon feedback from customers, platform teams & own observations of process & deliverables
• Drive reliability & automation initiatives to eliminate manual & repetitive BAU support activities
• Drive platform engineering concepts to improve integration delivery velocity

What you’ll bring

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team

• Proficiency in C# .NET
• Proven experience in developing cloud ready APIs in C# .net
• Proven experience working with Azure API Management (API Management Gateway)
• Proven experience working with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Function Apps (C#), Event Grids/Hubs Storage)
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform

• Extensive integration solution design, delivery and monitoring experience
• Experience in API authentication protocols such as Basic Authentication, Oauth 2.0 flows, SAML, JWT, SAML, API keys and client certificates
• Solution oriented, demonstrating the ability to collaborate as part of a platform team
• Hands on Experience with different tools required to achieve CI/CD using Azure DevOps
• Good negotiation and influencing skills, and confidence to operate at all levels of the business
• Ability to operate across culture and extract value from virtual teams dispersed globally
• Customer focus and strong understanding of business context
• Excellent communication skills
