Integration Engineer - Rail

FFI is leading Fortescue’s decarbonisation and growth agendas and developing a portfolio of projects centred on the production of renewable hydrogen, ammonia, minerals and other value-added products. FFI is underpinned by Fortescue’s world class expertise, operational excellence and proven capability to drive future growth.

Work location: Perth-based (Redcliffe WA)

Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)

Key accountabilities will include:

• Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data integration solutions
• Research new opportunities for data acquisition and determine data structural requirements
• Develop data integration standards and templates
• Carry out integration, validation, and testing of products
• Responsible from start to finish on all related V&V activities to ISO/IEC and relevant standards

Qualifications and skills required:

• Systems/Electrical/Mechatronics/ Software Engineering degree
• Experience with locomotives, rail systems – essential
• Experience with SiL & HiL frameworks
• Matlab Simulink / Altair Activate / GT- Suite simulation experience desired
• Experience with SAP work management
• Experience in preparing detailed scope of works
