About the Role

The role can be based in Brisbane or Perth.

As part of the BHP Technology Portfolio Team, you will be helping establish routines and best practices that will be used to power Portfolio activity and drive integration with our customers both internally and externally.  

Your core responsibilities within the team will be: 

  • Working with cross functional teams to develop integrated plans and approaches to achieve common outcomes and objectives across multiple teams. 
  • Bring together groups of diverse teams around collective challenges and be able to distill the problem statements down to clear next steps and outcomes 
  • Provide concise action plans and communication of constraints and impacts associated with resource gaps 
  • Create a one team approach to outcomes and integrated narratives and plans across Portfolio and also the broader Technology team. 
  • Lift above the local issues or constraints and think at a BHP and Technology level to help plan and provide the best path forward. 
  • Think differently and divergently to solve common challenges utilizing all of BHP Technology talent to help achieve the outcomes 
  • Help provide communication plans and approaches for different teams across Technology as a collective and common output of the work 
  • Development of and running the integrated planning routines across Technology teams to bring the key insights to the surface. 

About You

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience across technologies related to integrations 
  • Strong abilities to understand complex functional integration requirements 
  • Collaborative and problem-solving style to how you approach work and delivering outcomes 
  • Ability to facilitate and problem solve large complex problems with divergent groups of technical people 
  • Ability to clearly articulate key objectives and outcomes of Integration opportunities across Technology. 
  • Unify teams on the common approach and ways of working to provide inputs and requirements for Integration to work effectively. 
  • Have a system and process mindset to design sustainable approaches to this work that is scalable across a growing portfolio 
  • Be adaptable – there is never a same problem or same day in this type of work and you will need to be resilient and adaptable to a constantly changing working landscape.
