About the Role

Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Head of Olympic Dam Projects, the Integration Lead provides support to the Olympic Dan Projects Leadership Team, including developing and reviewing strategies, plans, communications and performance across the department to ensure delivery on all BHP, Minerals Australia and Minerals Australia Projects objectives.

As a key member of the Olympic Dam Projects Leadership Team, the successful candidate will work with their peers and supporting Functions to develop and implement improvement plans for sustainability, safety, culture, predictability and productivity. Working across a broad range of stakeholders in a dynamic, professional environment, the Integration Lead will form performance-based and trusting relationships, fostering collaboration and focusing on value creation and efficiency.

The role provides opportunities for rapid growth and exposure, supporting longer-term career and Leadership aspirations within Projects and related Functions.

 Accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to the Head of Olympic Dam Projects in developing and approving strategic plans by ensuring key performance targets, metrics and improvement initiatives are embedded;
  • Assist the Olympic Dam Projects Leadership team in fostering a culture of care and empowerment including leading Business-wide engagement activities and communication routines;
  • Work with the Olympic Dam Projects team on development, team alignment and core routines to drive continuous improvement;
  • Support sharing of best practices and facilitate connection across Assets and Functions to deliver customer-focussed performance and strategic priorities;
  • Develop reports and presentations on improvements, achievements, and strategies underway to get alignment with key stakeholders and management; and
  • Assist Olympic Dam Projects Leadership Team interface across Minerals Australia, including Minerals Australia Projects, Assets and the Executive Leadership Team.

You will bring creativity to seek, encourage and find new approaches to challenging tasks, while demonstrating learning agility and the ability to solve complex problems.  You will exercise prompt, sound judgement, leveraging your experience and working effectively through complex projects, with competing priorities across the internal and external stakeholder cohort.

Key requirements to be successful in this role include the following:

  • Advanced communications, engagement and influencing skills;
  • Trust and confidentiality with business sensitive information;

  • Demonstrate and promote a customer-centric mindset towards achieving business objectives; and
  • Tertiary Qualification essential (STEM or Business preferred).
