International Onboarding Assistant

We are currently seeking applications to fill the position of International Onboarding Assistant.

With over 5,500 employees, the Byrnecut Group is a full-service underground mining contractor, providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia and Internationally. We operate a multi-million dollar fleet of specialised underground mining equipment across multiple continents and conditions.

Duties 

  • Tracking of international medicals completed overseas
  • Booking medicals and vaccinations for prospective and existing employees within Australia
  • Administration includes: creating purchase orders, updating databases and tracking spreadsheets
  • Mobilising employees to international sites including preparing employees to travel to remote locations
  • Ensuring all employees complete inductions and new starter forms
  • Recruitment duties – creating job ads, shortlisting, interviewing and reference checks

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work in a high pressured, fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to demonstrate initiative, problem-solving
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and multitask by having strong time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both candidates and site management 
  • Knowledge of International Visa processes is desirable but not essential
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to assist outside of core hours
