Inventory Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join our Distribution Centre team based in Mackay. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced people and be responsible for the following;

  • Stock review and make action recommendations.
  • Closing out rebuild work orders.
  • Ensuring rebuilt components are moved from workshops to appropriate inventory storage areas.
  • Liaising with logistics and warehouse coordinators to ensure components are dispatched from storage.
  • Transacting inventory core onto rebuild work orders.
  • Branch transfers, identification and loading components into system, receipting into inventory system
  • Reviewing returns and reporting in alignment with Emeco policies and procedures
  • Core control – Managing core issues and returns to internal and external suppliers.
  • Compliance with Emeco WHS policies

We are looking for

  • 2+ years experience in a high volume inventory coordination role
  • Experience in heavy machine equipment and the mining industry is highly regarded
  • LF Forklift Licence would be advantageous
  • Experience and knowledge of mining industry equipment.
  • Significant experience using Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Resources sector experience highly valued
  • High standards of consistency and integrity in procurement practices.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, strong time management skills and ability to plan and forecast.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to operate autonomously and as part of a team
  • A strong commitment to safety
  • Strong analytical skills with a solutions focus
