Procurement Co-ordinator
Work location: Harrington, Delaware (Will relocate to either Dover or Wilmington, DE in Q3 2023)
Roster: Monday to Friday
Key responsibilities:
- Performing all activities in accordance with FFI CPSC policies and procedures and ensuring appropriate governance for procurement and contracting activities
- Identify cost competitive and reliable suppliers and issue requests for quotations, leveraging RFQ opportunities and supplier capabilities
- Purchase and expedite materials, parts, supplies, equipment and services following established purchasing policies and procedures whilst optimising price, delivery and terms
- Manage inwards and outwards logistics processes in accordance with industry and legislative requirements to ensure efficient delivery of goods
- Ensure all goods and services are ordered and received according to specification
- Foster and manage positive supplier relationships ensuring elements like payments are coordinated with relevant internal parties
- Develop, coordinate, and evaluate sourcing and minor tender packages for goods, capital equipment and services in accordance with contracts and procurement policies and procedures
- Negotiate purchase order terms and conditions, to support project schedule and budget
- Identify and maximise operational cost and opportunities to extract value for the business
- Generate reports and analysis to support procurement decision-making
- Identify and evaluate key risks at contract formation and seek input from other functions as appropriate (e.g. technical, legal etc.)
- Ensure FFI Ionix needs are consistently met in regards to the provision of procurement services
Qualifications and skills required:

Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, law, supply chain or similar desirable but not essential.
- At least 5 years of procurement experience in a similar procurement role, ideally within a manufacturing environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment across multiple packages
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement across multiple disciplines internal and external.
- High level written skills with excellent attention to detail
- Sound knowledge in procure to pay and logistics processes and experience for the supply of both goods and services
- Experience in dealing with procurement transactions at a domestic and international level
- Understanding of contractual concepts to enable proactive and efficient negotiation
- SAP experience or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning System
