Jumbo Operator

Join the Gwalia underground mining team as an EXPERIENCED Jumbo operator and be an integral part of the crew on a Tier 1 gold mine in Leonora, Western Australia. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills and share your knowledge as a senior member of the crew. 

About the role
FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie
Family friendly 2:2 roster
Great camp facilities including gym and swimming pool

About you

• Read and understand Development Designs and memos.
• Preform thorough pre-starts and report any damages.
• Previous experience operating SANDVIK DD421 jumbo.
• Drilling of all blast holes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Installation of ground support using split set bolts and mesh to standard. 
• Mechanical scaling as required.
• Complete daily planned inspection reports correctly.
• Install mine services when required.
• Be proactive with specific role requirements relating to the mining cycle, ensuring minimal operational downtime.
• Unrestricted manual Australian driver's licence
