About the Role

As the Lead AIMS Implementation, in this role, you will be accountable for the implementation, improvements and ongoing sustainability of the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) across all of our Nickel West operations. 

This is a role where you will call on your technical, stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities and ultimately help deliver safe, cost effective, reliable equipment to our Operations for our workforce to maintain and operate. 

This is a Perth-based role with occasional travel to site and excellent flexibility

In this role you will:

  • Lead the AIMS implementation plan at Nickel West
  • Enable the Asset Integrity inspections and strategies in 1SAP in compliance with Master Data Standards and the AIMS suit of Asset Class Standards (ASC)
  • Assist in the development and/or updates of work instructions across critical equipment’s control loops and components within the Business Critical Equipment and Infrastructure
  • Support or undertake gap analysis across active maintenance strategies
  • Liaise with Reliability, Maintenance, Engineering and Planning teams to ensure work instructions are practical, executable and in compliance with the requirements of the AIMS Asset Class Standards and developed Bow Ties
  • Engage with diverse subject matter experts and technical professionals inside or outside the organization

About You

  • Tertiary qualification or trade in Engineering or related field preferred
  • Maintenance, Engineering or Operational experience relevant to this role
  • Team player and with communication and influencing skills that are effective across diverse teams and departments
  • Previous exposure to Asset Management Systems
  • SAP experience is desirable
  • Display the ability to work autonomously and provide independent lateral solutions
  • Have a focus on continuous improvement and be passionate about building and maintaining positive working relationships within the team and across the business
