About the Role
As the Cloud Operations Lead you will own the Site Reliability Engineering capability within Cloud Factory team. This includes defining, establishing, and maintaining modern DevOps & SRE approaches, processes, culture, and agile ways of working within the Cloud teams.
You will build close relationships with our offshore partner to ensure that the Cloud Factory supported platforms are operating in a reliable and efficient manner. You will drive the improvements in our operations team by leading automation initiatives, establishing data-driven metrics and observability, optimizing cloud usage, and tuning the operational performance.
Working closing with the other product owners, engineers, and our offshore delivery partner, you will ensure that the cloud platforms is reliable and highly automated. You will have overall accountability for the successful adoption of modern DevOps in the operational support of the Cloud Factory.
This role can be based in Singapore, Brisbane or Perth (Australia).

- Evolve the cloud platform operations to be a highly effective function that operates highly reliable, integrated and automated platform for all our customers.
- Evolve and manage SRE improvement roadmaps and strategies.
- Build an inclusive culture and lead the SRE team by establishing the ways of working.
- Own the operational excellence of the cloud platforms.
- Shape the backlog: define, represent, and prioritizing streams and epics for SRE enhancements.
- Lead automation initiatives to enhance the stability and efficient of the cloud platforms.
- Lead initiatives to optimize cloud usage for reliability improvements or cost reduction purposes.
- Build data driven operational metric and monitoring capability.
- Work with our partners to streamline the engagement of high value resources that are aligned with the Cloud Factory delivery model and able to rapidly realize value for our customers
- Establish ways of working to ensure resilient cloud design and implementation practices are embedded into solutions during early stage of product life cycle development.
About You
Technology Stack
- SRE methodologies (preferred).
- Cloud operations experience.
- Cloud services: AWS and/or Azure
- Understanding DevOps practices.
Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in leading cloud operations team, and/or SRE engineering teams, and/or cloud engineering, and/or cloud administration teams, and/or monitoring & observability capabilities lead in an enterprise environment.
- Understanding of Cloud Automation development tools such as CI/CD, infrastructure as code.
- Experience in managing monitoring and events management workflows.
- Knowledge of Agile/Iterative development, test-driven development.
- Experience in Agile style ways of working
- Experience in working with multi-cultural and diverse teams
- Experience in working with virtual teams across different time zones
- Relentless drive to continuously learn new skills and improve
