About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with other maintenance and production teams to ensure safe and sustainable solutions are delivered and successfully implemented.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the control systems engineering team that provide support to Port Operations.
- Manage control systems engineering planned work.
- Provide support to fixed plant maintenance to fault find and identifying root cause.
- Ensure that designs include HSEC considerations for risks in constructability, operability, maintainability and sustainability.
- Manage works related to automation improvements (Manage the teams work load and provide guidance and coaching).
- Contribute to the review and improvement of control systems standards.
- Contribute to the asset management strategy for WAIO control systems assets.
- Contribute to Technology Process Improvement Control Systems strategy and roadmap.
About You
- Demonstrating an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility, and sustainable development and technical regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work effectively and build relationships with people at all levels of the business.
- Leading and supervising a diverse professional Control Systems team.
- Investigation and Root Cause Analysis.
- Extensive experience with Stacker, Reclaimers and Ship Loaders.
- Experience with;
- configuration and programming of various PLC Platforms, including Allen Bradley ControlLogix, GE and Schneider Concept
- configuration and programming of SCADA/HMI systems, in particular Citect SCADA.
- Functional Safety Certification in Systems design and maintenance.
- Industrial fieldbus networks such as PROFIBUS, MODBUS and DEVICENET
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering / Control Systems Engineering (or similar)
- Functional Safety qualifications (i.e. TUV Certified Engineer) desired.
