Reporting to the Package Manager – Site Infrastructure, you will assist in the development and delivery of the Offsite Roads package for the West Musgrave Project, while also championing our Culture and our "We Care" approach, which underscores our commitment to a positive workplace environment and our dedication to the wellbeing of our employees and the community.
This package includes delivery of the offsite road upgrades and maintenance works to facilitate the movement of freight for project construction and long-term operational needs. Your role will interface with various local government Shires, external design consultants and construction contractors as the various packages of work transition from detailed design to execution. Your time will be allocated between BHP office, Shire and consultant offices to support the detailed design and execution phase.
During package execution phase, you will work occasionally on-site or in Shires to assist in resolving technical queries, confirming works to specification, and effectively collaborating with key stakeholders on the successful delivery of the road upgrades and maintenance works.

About You
- Demonstrated extensive experience in engineering design development, including interpretation of standards and drawings.
- A leader with the ability to influence and develop effective partnerships across all levels.
- An effective communicator, who builds trustworthy relationships with all stakeholders and is recognised for consistently delivering clear and unambiguous messages.
- Good organisational skills and undertakes tasks with diligence and attention to the necessary detail.
- Problem solving skills with an ability to seek information and advice to resolve complex issues as they arise.
- Willingness to visit/work at remote locations during construction phase of project.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with clients and/or contractors toward shared outcomes.
- A safety leader committed to championing a safety culture and setting the standards for best practices in safety management across the organisation.
