About the Role
Operations Services (OS) is providing permanent employment to a growing team of more than 4500 employees. OS is committed to increase employment opportunities for Australian regional communities by delivering stability and sustainability that is good for our people and good for the communities.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will be accountable for:
- Delivery of the corporate alignment planning process, including 2YP and quarterly forecasting, to develop plans, targets and budgets, and captures improvements from execution to improve future CAP cycles.
- Translate strategic direction into practical plans, budgets and metrics that align and stretch the team to achieve high performance.
- Capital Planning, Governance and Execution including the Asset IRC Secretary
- Provide insight and through leverage analytics identify opportunities for improvement
- Conduct timely and accurate reporting to drive insight that enables informed decisions
- Lead a team of two direct reports
- Build strong relationships with our customers and other asset finance teams
- Engage and co-ordinate with co-located teams, located in Australia and overseas
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity and engage stakeholders at all levels. You will have great communication, influencing and interpersonal skills, essential to building constructive relationships and credibility with diverse stakeholders and cross functional teams.
This role will require the successful candidate to rapidly learn the specific operational area the role supports and ensure that processes are in line with the contractual requirements for that area.
About You
- Professional experience in resources, manufacturing, finance business partnership, consulting or engineering.
- Degree qualified; Commerce/Business or Engineering preferred, but not mandatory
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience and customer focus
- Independent, proactive and self-motivated and ability to think outside the box and drive change
- Understanding in commercial contracts is an advantage
As part of the recruitment process for this position you may be required to undergo a case study assessment, pre-employment medical and participate in a background screen including a criminal history check, identity check and qualifications check.
This role is based in Brisbane Office with periodical travel to site required
