About IROC
Perth City Square is home to BHP Iron Ore’s state-of-the-art Integrated Remote Operations Centre (IROC). Our Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using advanced, real-time technology to enable visibility and control, across the entire Iron Ore network.

About the Role
This role reports to the Superintendent Plant Control and is responsible for managing Process Engineering, Training and support requirements for the department. The role is a Monday to Friday roster with flexible work options available. You will play an integral role in the Plant Control team by:
- Supporting the Plant Control team by driving standardisation across the Five Mine sites. Stakeholder engagement as well as sound knowledge of fixed plant processing practices will be key to success in this area
- Developing and improving internal team processes and standardised work, setting up automated processes where appropriate. The role will also provide coaching to front line leaders to ensure quality and sustainability of processes and embedment of standardised work.
- Collaborating with site and IROC stakeholders and other coaches in the design of standardized work and capital projects
- Encouraging and leading productive collaboration across teams of Controllers and Supervisors through informal processes as well as formal forums and routines.
- Working with the Leadership Team to build capability across the business.
- Effectively managing the Engineer and Training specialist’s performance to achieve the business KPIs and delivering measurable outcomes through coaching, regular feedback and one-on-one conversations

About You
As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- Process Engineering (or similar) tertiary background or Subject Matter Expert in Fixed Plant processing highly regarded
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Experience with project management and / or project delivery (including change management and risk assessments)
- Demonstrated ability to standardize work, experience with improvement methodologies
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead via persuasion and influence
