About the Role
We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our WA Asset Projects Mines and NPI Portfolio in a Lead Project Studies role.
Working in a proactive and supportive team, you will promote business excellence using your business acumen, problem solving, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Reporting to Manager Studies for the Water Portfolio of projects, you will lead the development of projects managing disposal of surplus across the WAIO assets with the unique opportunity to deliver on our public water commitments, manage long-term business risk, and leave a positive legacy for future generations. You will play a significant role in delivering business value through the development of superior safety, scope, cost, schedule, and quality outcomes.
Other key accountabilities will include:
- Leading the development of the study in accordance with Our Requirements and the Minerals Australia Projects Internal Standard.
- Providing line management and leadership for Study Specialists within the team.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders and integrating inputs from various contributors to the study under the functional model.
- Identifying and delivering value optimisation initiatives.
- Ensuring the project risks are identified and actively managed throughout the study phases.
About You
Experienced in working within dynamic project environments, you will be an effective problem solver and compelling influencer, able to clearly communicate business benefits, risks, and project dependencies.
You will have divergent and convergent thinking skills, a strong understanding of business value and be adept at stakeholder management. Your ability to manage complexity and ambiguity will be a key strength in this role.
You will be degree qualified in either engineering, science, business or similar. Experience with water related infrastructure studies is desirable.
